Consideration for assistantships will continue until all assistantships have been assigned.
Applications received after January 10 are not guaranteed full consideration for the Fall semester.
A completed application to the Pharmacology/Toxicology (P/T) Graduate Program has:
- A completed online application with The Graduate School. This includes payment of the $50 admissions fee.
- Application for Assistantship -- Ph.D. applicants are eligible for department assistantship support. (contained in the application process above as an option)
- Three references and their contact information. (also requested at time of application)
- All official college transcripts.
- Official Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores (subject scores are optional). (institution code: 4705; no dept code is necessary.)
- Official TOEFL score (minimum 600 score on the paper-based test OR 250 if computer-based test) OR 100 on Internet based score for students whose first language is not English.
- Brief letter describing your research interests and career goals, and how those relate to why you wish to study in the P/T Graduate Program. Please also include any research experiences you have had. This letter should be uploaded with your online application in either a .doc or .pdf format.

P/T Graduate Program Course Prerequisites - Students should have taken the following two (2) courses before beginning their graduate studies in order to avoid taking undergraduate courses as deficiencies upon their arrival:
1. An undergraduate statistics course; and
2. A 300-level (or higher) organ/mammalian physiology course.
