Annual Funds

Dean's Fund for Excellence supports a variety of programs, including student and faculty travel to conferences and other professional meetings, lecture and seminar speakers, student recruitment, special events and our alumni newsletter, CougaRx.

Scholarship Fund provides financial support for students in the Doctor of Pharmacy program and/or the graduate programs of the College of Pharmacy.

Cancer Prevention and Research Fund provides support for faculty and graduate student research into cancer prevention and treatment. Special emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary approaches to preventing and limiting the spread of cancer.

Drug Information Center Fund helps support the activities of WSU's Spokane-based Drug Information Center, which provides free advice on medications, their interactions and side effects, to physicians, pharmacists, and other health professionals in the Northwest..

Departmental Research Funds provides start-up support to new faculty members who do not yet have established labs and need preliminary data in order to apply for large federal grants; provide bridge funding for more senior faculty who may be between federal grants.
