Job summary:
Open Full Time position available for our Clinic Pharmacy located in Mt. Vernon, Washington. The Pharmacist will provide pharmacy services within a progressive ambulatory care setting, which includes medical, dental and pharmacy. Minimum Qualifications:
This successful candidate will work in coordination with medical providers and other appropriate staff to meet the patients’ medication related needs. Current valid Washington State Pharmacist License required. Must have a minimum of one year experience in a retail and/or clinic pharmacy practice. Bilingual, Spanish/English preferred, but not required. This position does not require successful candidate to work nights or weekends.

Position Title: Pharmacy Intern/Staff Pharmacist
Company: Island Pharmacy

Location: Ketchikan, Alaska
Position shift hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
and 3 hours every other Saturday

Job summary:
This is an entry-level position for a newer graduate wanting to gain experience working with other staff pharmacists and trained technicians. This position entails working one on one with other healthcare providers, drug reviews, good patient interactions, along with day to day retail pharmacy operations including compounding and compliance packaging. Additionally, pharmacy will be establishing an immunization program.

We are a small but busy apothecary style pharmacy in our 43nd year of operation located in Southeast Alaska. We are looking for the right candidate to add to our team who is willing to learn and contribute to the practice.

Intern applicants paid post-graduate scale wages based on experienced until pharmacist status obtained. Will consider financial assistance with student loans for committed candidate.

Minimum qualifications:
Eligible for Alaska State Intern/Pharmacist License, good communication skills and certified to provide immunizations.
