Research
Evaluation of teaching methods using hybrid high fidelity simulation compared to static manikins and student role-playing for teaching clinical skills to students in a clinical exercise physiology program. Develop and evaluate the delivery of the Group Lifestyle Balance™ program using trained student pharmacists and exercise physiologist students to deliver the program to the citizens in our communities, including rural and underserved areas.

Develop experiential learning activities for students in collaboration with community sites to serve residents who are interested in primary or secondary prevention of chronic disease.

Use exercise/physical activity to improve cognitive dysfunction which has resulted from side effects of treatment interventions.

Expertise: Rehabilitation of clients or patients who want to prevent or who have already been diagnosed with cardiovascular or metabolic diseases and cancer using exercise, physical activity and lifestyle modification as interventions.
