Panther teaches IPPE I, II, and III to first and second years preparing the students for three week summer internships in community or institutional pharmacy. She also teaches pharmacy law and regulatory affairs. In addition to these courses, Panther precepts students at community events throughout the year
Shannon G. (Irving) Panther graduated from the WSU College of Pharmacy in 2005, worked for a year with Target Corp. and has been with Costco Wholesale since 2006, most recently as pharmacy manager of mail order.
Panther is implementing a research project aimed to decrease narcotic drug abuse in a college aged population and increase the availability of intranasal naloxone in the community to reverse drug overdose. This project is funded by the WSU office of the president.
Her most recent research focuses on increasing immunization rates and use of ADHD medications in children.
