As a new student in the College of Pharmacy there are several things you can do before orientation to make your first week easier. Please take a few minutes to complete the following tasks.
Step 1: Setup your WSU network ID
As a new student one of the first steps is ensuring that you have a WSU Network ID. If you already have a WSU Network ID please continue on to Step 2 - Create your live@edu email account.
What is required to create my ID?
To create your Network ID you will need your WSU Student number.
Select a professional Network ID/email
When selecting a Network ID please select a name that represents you in a professional manner. When you create an email account your email will match your Network ID.
WSU requires that students, staff and faculty use complex passwords when creating their account or changing their account password.
Step 2: Setup your email account
Now that you have your WSU Network ID, you need to create your email account.
What if I already have an email account @ WSU?
Some students may already have an email account at WSU. If you have an @wsu.edu account then skip to Step 3 - Configuring Wireless Access.
If you do not have an email account then you will need to setup your @wsu.edu account.
Setting up your @wsu.edu account
To setup your account you will need to :
- Visit ZZUSIS to get your new email name and temporary password and then visit wsu.edu to sign-in and activate your new email account. IMPORTANT!! Please change your new Office 365 password. The new email password provided through the MyWSU site is temporary and should be changed.
- Once your account has been setup you can configure various email clients to access your account in addition to the web based interface. Details on configuring email clients can be found here.
Configuring Email Clients
Directions on configuring office 365 for your email client can be found here.
Step 3: Configure wireless access
Students using the wireless network at Riverpoint will need to use an alternate configuration: Riverpoint wireless configuration.
Step 4: Printers
