Dietetics

The General Dietetics Program (GDP) is a four-year program offered on the Pullman campus. Completion of this program is the first step toward gaining the registered dietitian (RD) credential. Read more.

The Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CPD) is a two semester program which combines classroom education with experiences in all aspects of dietetics. The supervised practical experiences are in the Tacoma/Olympia area and provide 960 hours to meet the 900 hours required by the American Dietetic Association for coordinated programs. Upon completion of the CPD program students will be eligible to write the Registration Examination to become a RD. Read more about the program.

 

Exercise Physiology

The curriculum for this interdisciplinary program combines study in exercise science, human nutrition, biological sciences and social and psychological sciences with hands-on clinical experience.

Students must complete freshman/sophomore course requirements at WSU Pullman or another institution before enrolling at WSU Spokane.
