Pharmacology/Toxicology

M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology/Toxicology
A research-oriented program designed to prepare students for careers in independent research and teaching in pharmacology, toxicology, and related areas. The research interests of the faculty are very broad and active areas of research include cardiovascular, behavioral, endocrine, immuno- and neuro- pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, cancer biology, drug metabolism, drug delivery, and environmental toxicology. The diversity in faculty research interests provides students with a solid foundation in many areas of molecular and cellular pharmacology and toxicology and a broad spectrum of research programs from which a dissertation proposal may be selected.

Post-Pharm.D.

The College has several hospital and community residency opportunities in Spokane and Yakima.

Health Policy & Administration

Master's in Health Policy and Administration (MHPA)
The Health Policy and Administration graduate program is at WSU Spokane. The program's primary mission is to prepare working students who are interested in healthier communities for a variety of professional health services management positions.

 

Nutrition

M.S. in Nutrition There are thesis and non-thesis options

Ph.D. in Nutrition Candidates for the Ph.D. degree in Nutrition may choose: a) the biological nutrition option that emphasizes the biochemical and physiological aspects of nutrition in humans and animals; or b) the behavioral nutrition option that emphasizes nutrition education, community nutrition, and other behavioral aspects of nutrition
