Nutrition & Dietetics

Nutrition and Dietetic Program Changes

ATTENTION:  Dietetics students and other interested parties.
The WSU dietetics programs are being consolidated and relocated to the WSU Spokane campus. Students currently enrolled in the General Dietetics or Coordinated Dietetics programs can complete their course of study in Pullman. However, effective immediately (Fall 2008), the General Dietetics Program at WSU Pullman will no longer admit any new freshman or transfer students. New Pullman students may choose to complete, in Pullman, the prerequisites for the WSU Spokane Exercise Metabolism program (ExMet) that includes a coordinated program in dietetics, and then apply for admission to the ExMet program.

ATTENTION:  BS in FSHN (Nutritional Science Option) College of Sciences

The BS in Nutritional Science is no longer offered at WSU for new students.

Effective immediately (Fall 2008) the Nutritional Science degree option will no longer be certifying students.  Students who are already certified and have questions about the changes should contact their advisor. Students who have not certified but are able to take nutrition courses prior to 2012 should contact Sciences Advising, 335-4549.

ATTENTION: To all parties interested in either the MS degree in Human Nutrition, or the PhD in Nutrition graduate programs:  At this time Washington State University has suspended all admissions to all Nutrition graduate programs.  To clarify, this means that there will not be any further applications accepted for either program at this time.
