Description: Dr. Terriff precepts 4th year pharmacy students who are assigned a six week clinical rotation at Deaconess Medical Center on either one of two inpatient medical teams (critical care or pulmonary medicine) or outpatient HIV clinic (200 students over the past 16 years). She also teaches medical residents and students during rounds. She also was a preceptor and residency director for PGY1 pharmacy and PGY2 infectious disease residents over the past 10 years. Her areas of interest, teaching and scholarly activities are related to HIV/AIDS, and other infectious diseases, and emergency preparedness and the role of the pharmacist in the public health response. She has presented numerous in-service trainings and professional presentations to a variety of health care providers and first responders. Dr. Terriff is also the pharmaceutical coordinator for Spokane’s Metropolitan Medical Response System.
